The 9th international aerospace exhibition, Dubai 2005 (Dubai Air Show) took off today, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister cut the ribbon in the presence of HH Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Information, H.E. Mohammed Al Rumathei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces in a ceremony at Airport Expo that is attended by a number of sheikhs, ministers, senior local and GCC goverment officials as well as a galaxy of Arab and international participants.
